Lara LaVasse

Lara LaVasse Esthetician     Hello, my name is  Lara LaVasse. I am the esthetician here at Hands on Health. I have been working in this field for over 10 years. I have lived in the Treasure Valley since 2005 with my two favorite buddies Steve and Joey (my miniature pinschers). My family is what brought me to Idaho from California. My interests include arts and crafts, fishing, shopping, boating, hiking, outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I love what I do and working here at Hands On Health. I have never been happier!

I attended Paris Beauty College in California and Headmasters in Boise. My career began in department store cosmetics including Lancôme, Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Benefit, M.A.C., Origins, Lorac, Guerlain, Yves Saint Laurent, and more. I have worked with almost every makeup and skincare line on the market and have extensive formal training.

My experience includes make-up artistry in film, professional photography, and fashion events. I have enjoyed donating my time and make up art for various women’s shelters including the Hopes Door Fashion Show this past May. I have participated with other charitable organizations to benefit our four legged friends as well.

At Hands On Health we care about having high quality products for you, as well as supporting our local economy. For our skin care we use Epionce, a locally made, internationally distributed skin care line. As an esthetician and in my personal use, Epionce has provided me with truly amazing results. My skin looks fabulous, even without make up!

My ideal client is one that is looking for the confidence that comes from softer, smoother, clearer skin. For that reason, I especially enjoy working with those who have problem skin or who are concerned about aging. I take pride in being extremely thorough in all aspects of my work from brow shaping to a facial that will be a unique experience, tailored to your individual needs.

My expertise as a licensed Esthetician includes custom designed facials, chemical peels, manual lymphatic and sinus drainage, massage for the face including pressure point and reflexology, micro-current and machine facials, micro-derm abrasion, facial and body waxing, detoxifying body contour wraps, and all areas of make-up.

I am always continuing my education and keeping up to date with the latest trends. I am available for complimentary consultations to discuss your skincare and beauty needs. I believe beautiful skin is integral to your health and a reflection of overall well being. All of us can achieve a healthy complexion with proper care and guidance.

A tip I would like to share with you is the importance of a full spectrum sunscreen that is both UVA and UVB. By reapplying it every few hours according to the limits of protection you will prevent sunspots and wrinkles before they ever start!

A lot of our services at Hands On Health work on inner balance and well-being which is so important. But, let's ‘face’ it our outer appearance is also very important! By combining skin care with more internal forms of care like massage, nutrition, and yoga, you will receive a truly comprehensive approach to your well being that will literally rejuvenate you from the inside out!
